ABOUT US:

Man's Best Friend has been run by Violet Hurd and Wanda Goulty for the past 16 years.

Both have over 20 years of experience of training dogs.

Only kind, reward based methods are used -bring plenty of treats for your dog!

All breeds and ages welcome.

Puppies should have been fully vaccinated.

No choke chains allowed.

Make sure your dog is wearing a disc with your address and telephone number,

and bring poop bags. Bring some toys as well!

Please exercise your dog before coming in, so that he or she will not have any accidents indoors.

Classes are held at BENTLEY PAVILION, BENTLEY, DONCASTER, SOUTH YORKSHIRE

Beginners/Puppies (working towards Puppy Award and Bronze Award): 7-8 pm

Intermediate/advanced (working towards Silver and Gold Award): 8-9 pm

You are welcome to just turn up on the night, alternatively telephone Wanda

and speak to her in advance. Tel. 01709-581340

Please arrive just a few minutes early.

The hall opens approx. 6.50 pm.

Newcomers will spend their first session with Wanda or Neil,

having everything explained to them, and will then join Violet in class the following week.

Small membership fee payable annually and small fee each week

-we believe we are by far the cheapest in Doncaster.

(Man's Best Friend is NOT run for personal profit, and all monies go towards hall hire etc.)

We will help you turn your dog into a wellbehaved pet that is

a pleasure to own.

We also promote responsible dog ownership and are Kennel Club

approved for their GOOD CITIZEN DOG SCHEME.

As you and your dog progresses, you will be given the opportunity

to take the various GC tests -Puppy, Bronze, Silver and Gold.

All are designed for you and your dog to be responsible citizens.
